Our story

Hello, I'm Fjolla, the founder of The Little Club!

The Little Club was born from two of my greatest passions: children and play.

As a mum of two and a qualified primary school teacher, I saw first-hand how much children learn when they are free to explore, imagine and lead their own play.

Watching my daughter learn through role play inspired me to create a space where children could develop confidence, communication and creativity in a way that felt natural, joyful and pressure-free.

As with most things in life, our journey hasn't been a straight line, but one thing has remained constant: our belief that children thrive when given the time, space and freedom to play.

We aim to provide high-quality, low-stimulation experiences for little ones and their grown-ups, creating a place of calm, connection and imagination within our local community.

Why We Started

When I became a parent, I found myself searching for play spaces that felt calm, welcoming and thoughtfully designed. While there were lots of activities available, I wanted somewhere that encouraged genuine imaginative play rather than constant stimulation.

The Little Club was created to fill that gap — a place where children can immerse themselves in role play, follow their interests and learn through play, while parents enjoy a warm and friendly environment to connect with other local families.

What Makes Us Different

At The Little Club, play is child-led, open-ended and purposeful.

Our role-play areas are carefully designed to spark curiosity, creativity and conversation. Whether children are serving customers in the café, building at the construction site, caring for babies or putting out fires, every activity encourages language development, problem solving, social skills and imaginative thinking.

We believe children don't always need more noise, more screens or more structured activities. Sometimes they simply need space to play.

Looking Ahead

What started as a small idea has grown into a wonderful community of local families, and we're so excited about what's still to come.

Alongside our regular role-play sessions, we're expanding into birthday parties, educational play experiences and new ways for families to connect and learn together.

Our vision remains simple: to create beautiful play experiences that nurture imagination, support development and bring people together.
